After just 7 weeks, the ‘God Socks’ NFT has been sold!
Just a few months ago we announced the ‘God Socks’ NFT — a non-fungible token that would grant the owner lifetime royalties from our flagship product, Prophet Pools.
At a price tag of $100,000, we knew the value we attached to the NFT was extreme — but so too is the potential for Prophet Pools and the Prophecy ecosystem as a whole. These have never been done before in crypto, and we’re planning on making huge waves with what we deliver.
That’s why we’re incredibly excited to announce that today — Friday 30 April, 2021 — the first ever Prophecy God Socks NFT has officially been sold to an anonymous purchaser for $95,000 (35 ETH).
The holder of this NFT will now receive royalties from every single Prophet Pool fee generated, among hidden bonuses that only the holder will be privy to, alongside some unannounced surprises.
Speaking about the purchase, the anonymous buyer said: “It was only recently that I first heard about this project, and now I plan on being a long-term hodler.
“I’m excited to join the Prophecy community and look forward to the launch of Prophet Pools, the Retina suite of products, and more.”

With every sale of the royalty-generating NFTs (Prophecy God Socks and Prophecy God Mask) the floor price increases. As of this first sale, the current floor price for a royalty-generating NFT is now $150,000. After that, the price will be $250,000.
