HOW PROPHECY UNISWAP LAUNCH DAY WILL WORK
After smashing our presale target with just over 24 hours to go until the big Uniswap listing, we’re dropping a super simple article to outline how you should expect the day to go!
The Uniswap launch day for any new project is an anxious time for many people. From being burned with rug pulls, to sloppy and unplanned launches, we want to make our Uniswap launch day (tomorrow, as of writing this) go as smoothly as possible, and it’s something we’ve been planning out for a number of weeks in detail now.
In this article, we’ll cover the basics over what to expect, rough times for launch, and how to keep in contact throughout it. Communication is key (cliche, we know!) so we’ll be on hand throughout the day to chat to and update. Join our Telegram here.
When will Prophecy launch on Uniswap?
Prophecy is launching on Uniswap on Tuesday 29 December 2020.
We will announce a “launch window” of a few hours space in which we will launch Prophecy on Uniswap. This window will be announced during an AMA later today (28 December) and shared across our social media, including our Telegram group.
The launch will be in the PM (afternoon/ evening) UTC timezone, so that gives you an idea on when to be prepared. More specific timings will be updated to this article after they are announced across our social media.
Why do you have a “launch window”?
A launch window is a common and often-employed security measure a number of projects utilise before launching a major landmark, like a Uniswap listing or new product.
The main thing it combats against is scam listings that attempt to launch at the same time, or slightly before, the official contract and listing. We’ve already called out two of these (HERE and HERE) and we’re actively monitoring for the launch of further attempted scams so that we’re able to publicly call them out, including posting their scam contract address on social media, and leave a comment on their Etherscan by our official Prophecy account which will remain public forever.
We have been using a piece of public software that returns results for every Etherscan upload in real time (as well as every CoinGecko/ CMC listing in real time) to manually monitor this, and will continue to call out attempted scams even post-launch.
A launch window also prevents targeted scam/ spam attacks in our Telegram community of malicious members attempting to post fake links in order to trick or confuse other members. All of the admin and developer team will be on hand during this launch window and will be cracking down on any attempts to spam or scam members within our communities.
For clarity: do NOT trust any link that is not provided directly by an admin/ developer. We will pin the official links and contract address prominently in our Telegram at launch, as well as across our official social media accounts and website.
When can I claim my $PRY tokens?
Private Sale: Private sale participants will have their tokens manually distributed around the time of Uniswap launch. We have compiled a list of eligible wallets that participated during the private sale, and the team will manually send these around Uniswap launch. Confirmation emails will be sent if an email was provided alongside the ETH allocation.
Presale: Presale participants will manually claim their token allocation from a special distribution portal that will open up around the Uniswap launch. We will share this link in our Telegram, and supporters will have to connect with their MetaMask. Ensure your MetaMask is linked to the wallet you participated in the presale with, and the claim value should update automatically to redeem your $PRY tokens.
Tell me more about locked liquidity
We will be locking a minimum of $75,000 for the launch of our Uniswap listing. We will provide the token lock links to our supporters on Telegram, permanently pin this link in our main pinned message, as well as feature it in the footer of Medium articles so our supporters can always manually verify the liquidity is still locked.
We will be releasing significant features in the near future that will be implemented for the sole purpose of continually increasing the amount of locked liquidity on Uniswap, including Liquidity Farming and other incentivised gamified products for locking up liquidity.
What about staking day one?
We will launch staking on day one, with a limited-time, limited-participant special reward staking pool. It will be first-come, first-served, so join fast if you want the best rewards on offer for staking with Prophecy!
The staking pool will open up after Uniswap listing. We will post the link to join this staking pool on Telegram, so stay tuned.
We will launch specific parameters for the day one staking pool in an article in a few hours, including the minimum amount required to stake, the total token allocation for this first staking pool, stake duration, early unstake penalties and much more!
Where will all official links, listings and information be posted?
All of our official links (including links to the redemption portal and staking pool), listings (including Uniswap and Dextools) and information (including the launch window and specific launch-related content) will be shared primarily in our Telegram group.
We will update our website to feature a ‘buy’ button that will link to the Prophecy Uniswap listing, and our social media channels will also share official links.
Please do not trust listings or links that an admin or developer has not directly shared. Scam listings exist, and new scams specifically operate to trick people around a project’s launch. We will pin all official content in our Telegram, so always double-check there!
